FAQ
Do I need a transponder?
In the Race Elite Championship (red class) and the Sport Rider Championship (yellow class), transponders are mandatory, and EVERY participant must use a transponder. In the green class, a transponder can be used, but it is not mandatory. All entry fees and timing for all races of the event are included in the price.
Can I buy a ticket on site?
No. Tickets are only available online. This is the only way we can ensure that you - if an event is still bookable - have your starting place in your desired group. Provided there are still free places in your desired group, you can of course simply buy a ticket on site with your mobile phone in our webshop.
Are there special rules at ESBC?
What is important at our ESBC events is that pleasure comes first, but the safety and health of our riders are also close to our hearts. Don't forget that sportsmanship should be paramount. Therefore, we ask for your understanding that riders who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be excluded from training sessions or races. Wheelies and burnouts are prohibited throughout the entire area.
Is there a discount for group registrations
No. However, if you register in time, you can benefit from our Early Bird offers.
Does my insurance pay anything in case of a fall?
Every driver should clarify this with their insurance company themselves, as each insurance company handles this differently. Often, however, track driving is excluded from many comprehensive and accident insurance policies.Since most motorcycles are not registered on the racetrack, liability insurance cannot be involved in the event of damage involving third parties. Therefore, it is important that everyone is aware that on the track, due to higher speeds, damage to the motorcycle can often occur in a fall, for which one then has to pay oneself. This also applies in the event of third-party fault - the code of honor on the racetrack is: Everyone pays for their own damage, regardless of the question of fault! Therefore, it is advantageous to inquire with your own insurance company in advance.
What should I consider when it comes to clothing?
The racetrack may only be used with full leather clothing suitable for the racetrack (minimum requirement: trousers and jacket must be connected with a zipper), back protector, motorcycle leather gloves, motorcycle boots and full-face helmet.
Are there accommodations near the conference?
The real paddock feeling can be experienced by camping, in a motorhome, or whatever you can stay in, directly on the track. This is possible on all tracks we have in our program. If you prefer something a little more comfortable, you will find all imaginable accommodations in the immediate vicinity of the racetracks, from simple guesthouses to luxury hotels. We ask you to make the booking yourself.Attention: Tents, tarpaulins, umbrellas, etc. must be secured in such a way that they cannot be carried away by wind or storm and damage other property. The person who carries out the assembly and fastening is also liable.During the training days, self-catering is the order of the day. However, many tracks offer very good and not too expensive catering options in the local restaurants.
I would like to book an event that is already fully booked. Is there a waiting list?
Should no more tickets be available for the desired event, please feel free to contact us by email at europeansportbikeclub@gmail.com and you will be placed on the waiting list or we can tell you more precisely whether places have become available again due to cancellations. It makes sense to be put on the waiting list, as riders often have to cancel their booked event for various reasons.
