GENERAL
Can I participate in your races and trainings as a beginner?
Everyone starts somewhere. You should generally be able to safely control your motorcycle and master the most basic riding maneuvers, then nothing stands in the way of a first experience on the race track. For beginners, we recommend booking one of our experienced instructors. He will be at your side for the booked appointment (according to the service booked) and will show you everything important for a day at the race track.
What kind of riders race at ESBC?
We have responsible and ambitious hobby riders who regularly check and maintain their motorcycles. Responsible riding and consideration for every fellow competitor are very important to us. Accordingly, unfair or rule-breaking riding will be punished with disqualification.Riders who have a license and regularly compete in international competitions, i.e. those who ride lap times well under 2 minutes at the Pannoniaring, are very welcome in our Race-Elite Championship (red class).
Do I need a transponder?
In our Race-Elite Championship (red class) and Sport-Rider Championship (yellow class), transponders are mandatory and EVERY participant must use a transponder. In the green class, a transponder can be used, but is not mandatory. All entry fees and timing for all races of the event are included in the price.
Why are there cheaper racing series? Why are track days cheaper than racing events?
ESBC can offer racing events relatively cheaply. However, there are significant differences between racing events and normal track days.
We offer all dates on weekends or public holidays, where race tracks are significantly more expensive than during the week. SAFETY is a top priority for us! We always ride on all tracks with an emergency paramedic and/or ambulance service present. We have some volunteer helpers at our events, but also staff who are paid by us to ensure a smooth process. This naturally costs.
We provide transponder time measurement for all our events. Most other track day events charge extra fees for transponder rental.
There is no other provider in Austria that makes it possible to race and train cheaply with 300cc sport motorcycles on kart tracks throughout Austria and Europe. Until we have completely implemented this "niche" in motorsport, some investments are required that larger providers do not have to bear to this extent.
Why are there cheaper organizers? Events during the week are many times cheaper than on weekends, and therefore these organizers are in no way comparable to our events. Cheap organizers overbook the groups and you are standing at the red light (tires cool down - increased risk of falling).
Can I participate in a race training as a licensed rider?
Licensed riders are welcome to use our dates as training opportunities.
Are there special rules at ESBC?
It is important at our ESBC events that enjoyment comes first, but the safety and health of our riders are also close to our hearts. Don't forget that sportsmanship should be paramount. Therefore, we ask for your understanding that riders who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be excluded from training and races. There is a wheelie and burnout ban in the entire area. All other motorcycle stunts are also not allowed. When accelerating, e.g. at the start, it can happen that the front wheel rises a little, which we then recognize as unintentional. Intentional wheelies, stoppies or burnouts are not tolerated by us and would therefore also lead to consequences (e.g. a ban from participating in our events or race exclusion). You can read these and other important information in our terms and conditions.
What happens in the event of an accident?
On site, the marshals of the respective race track are always on duty to ensure first aid. Our service package also includes the presence of an emergency paramedic and/or ambulance. We thus have the best possible care for on-site support. Everything else is handled by the surrounding hospitals, which are prepared for all possible injuries from a race event due to their proximity to the race track. Any necessary repatriation is then taken care of by the necessary international health insurance, accident insurance or a breakdown cover. However, you must take care of this yourself.
Does my insurance pay anything in the event of a fall?
Every rider should clarify this themselves with their insurance, as each insurance company handles this differently. Often, however, ring riding is excluded from many comprehensive and accident insurances.Since most motorcycles on the race track are not registered, no liability insurance can be used in the event of damage involving a third party. Therefore, it is important that everyone is aware that on the ring, in the event of a fall, due to the higher speeds, damage to the motorcycle can often occur, for which one then has to pay oneself. This also applies in the event of fault by a third party - the code of honor on the race track is: Everyone pays for their own damage, regardless of the question of fault! Therefore, it is advisable to inform yourself in advance with your own insurance.BOOKING & REGISTRATION

What happens if a race or free practice has to be interrupted?
Unfortunately, due to a fall, a technical defect (oil leak, etc.) or a sudden change in weather, a group's turn may have to be cancelled or completely skipped for your safety. During free practice, riding will then continue as scheduled. Unfortunately, cancelled turns cannot be made up, as otherwise the daily schedule and timetable cannot be adhered to. This would mean that not all races could be held.If a race has to be cancelled after the first few laps, there will be a restart with a shortened total time. If cancelled after half the race, the distance covered so far will be counted and there will be no restart. No compensation can be claimed for unridden turns or races.
IMPORTANT!Always pay attention to the loudspeaker announcements and the notifications on the WhatsApp Infoboard, where you will be informed about everything throughout the event (falls, changes in the timetable, etc.).

If you prefer something more comfortable, you will find all conceivable accommodations in the immediate vicinity of the race tracks, from simple guesthouses to luxury hotels. We ask you to make the booking yourself.Attention: Tents, tarpaulins, umbrellas, etc. must be secured in such a way that they are not carried away by wind or storm and can damage other property. However, at many tracks there are very good and not too expensive catering options in the local restaurants.
Is it possible to walk the track?
